Dr. James E. Shaw,

Jim Shaw has
been Pastor of Mill Creek Baptist Church since 1990. He is a graduate of
Southern Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in Radio-Television and
Theater. He has a Master's of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist
Theological Seminary, Ft. Worth, Texas, and a Doctor of Ministry in Church
Growth from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville. He has led
Mill Creek not only to an emphasis in evangelism, but also a strong commitment
to Christian education and discipleship.
Dr. Shaw is
the Evangelism Chairman for the Severns Valley Association of Baptists and a
member of the Hardin County Ministerial Associations. He is the host of the
television and radio program “Changed Life” |

Pastor Shaw and his wife Christine were married in 1971. They have three
children, twins Jason and Heather, and Jon. The Shaw’s are grandparents
to Ty, Abby, and Zack. Christine is a graduate of University of Kentucky
with a Masters in Education and has taught at Flaherty Elementary since 1990.
