From the Pastor:

We want every member to be serving in the church.
New members should pray about what area of service God would have them work in.

The new member should speak to the appropriate leader about serving in their area.

The leader should check with the Pastor before committing to the new member.
Those who desire to work with anyone under the age of 18 must have a background check.

Once the leader and Pastor have agreed, then the administrator should proceed with the background check.
The Pastor will share with the Nominating Committee. The new member would be approved by the church.

The nominating Committee needs to fill the following vacancies. Please consider serving in one of these volunteer positions and contact one of the members of the Nominating Committee (Stacy Simmons, Jean & Charlie Shelton, Jaime Fey).


Church Clerk Assistant Executive Board Member Small Group Director 5th/6th grade Sunday School teacher (preferably female)		Stewardship Committee (1 position) Sunday School Director Driver for Van Ministry Nominating Committee (2 positions)		FUNdamentals Assistant (Wednesday nights) AWANA Commander Mission Friends Workers (2 positions)

A Word from the Pastor Concerning Volunteers:

As we approach the new church year, I want to thank all of our ministry volunteers. Each of you has volunteered to serve the Lord, and God wants to bless your efforts. We desire to help you also in the following ways:

Prayer Requests
People going into the hospital and tests
Resource materials needed (curriculum) contact Jaime Fey
Assistant Teacher for each class
Let us know when you have a challenge
Be aware of church calendar
Training events will be offered
If there is a volunteer need in your area, please let the nominating committee know
Remember to keep your personal spiritual time with God
Do your very best. God is using you to increase the Kingdom.
